     Colonel Hardress Luttrell Saunderson was born in 1822.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hardress Robert Saunderson and Lady Maria Anne Luttrell.1 He married Lady Elizabeth Williamsa Anne Dawson-Damer, daughter of Captain Hon. Henry Dawson-Damer and Eliza Moriarty, on 20 December 1847.1 He died on 21 June 1881.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 66th Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Cavan Militia.1

     Margaret Douglas was the daughter of Sylvester Douglas of Whiteriggs and Margaret Keith.1 She married Patrick Stirling, 4th of Kippendavie, son of Charles Stirling, 3rd of Kippendavie and Catherine Arbuthnott, in 1727.1 She died circa 1754.1
     From 1727, her married name became Stirling.1
