     Sir John Pease Fry, 2nd Bt. was born on 26 February 1864.1 He was the son of Sir Theodore Fry, 1st Bt. and Sophia Pease.2 He married Margaret Theodora Fox, daughter of Francis Edward Fox, on 4 June 1891.1 He died on 25 January 1957 at age 92.1
     He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.1 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Fry, of Woodburn, Blackwell, co. Durham [U.K., 1894] on 5 September 1912.1
