     Hon. David Plunket was the son of William Conyngham Plunket, 1st Baron Plunket of Newton and Katherine McCausland.¹ He married Louisa Busby, daughter of Robert Aldridge Busby, on 27 December 1837.¹ He died on 12 September 1868.¹
     He held the office of Prothonotary of the Court of Common Pleas [Ireland].¹ He was a practising barrister.¹

     Louisa Busby was the daughter of Robert Aldridge Busby.¹ She married Hon. David Plunket, son of William Conyngham Plunket, 1st Baron Plunket of Newton and Katherine McCausland, on 27 December 1837.¹ She died on 27 August 1895.¹
     From 27 December 1837, her married name became Plunket.¹
