     Reverend Phipps Onslow was born on 9 March 1823.1 He was the son of Phipps Vansittart Onslow and Harriet Winnington.1 He married Jane Sophia Martin, daughter of C. W. Martin, on 23 June 1868.1 He died on 20 July 1903 at age 80.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was Rector at Upper Sapey, Herefordshire, England.1

     Jane Sophia Martin was the daughter of C. W. Martin.1 She married Reverend Phipps Onslow, son of Phipps Vansittart Onslow and Harriet Winnington, on 23 June 1868.1 She died on 26 September 1900.1
     From 23 June 1868, her married name became Onslow.1

     He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1890 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1
