Fiona Elizabeth Cameron Corbett was born on 14 November 1942.2 She is the daughter of Thomas Godfrey Polson Corbett, 2nd Baron Rowallan and Gwyn Mervyn Grimond.1,3 She married, firstly, David Henry Amherst Cecil, son of Lt. Hon. Henry Kerr Auchmuty Cecil and Elizabeth Rohays Mary Burnett, on 6 August 1966.1 She and David Henry Amherst Cecil were divorced in 1972.1 She married, secondly, Major William Garry Patterson, son of William Norman Patterson, in 1974.2
     From 6 August 1966, her married name became Cecil.1 From 1974, her married name became Patterson.2 She lived in 2003 at Kisby's Farm, Ecchinswell, Berkshire, England.2

Thomas Godfrey Polson Corbett, 2nd Baron Rowallan

     Thomas Godfrey Polson Corbett, 2nd Baron Rowallan was born on 19 December 1895.1 He was the son of Archibald Cameron Corbett, 1st Baron Rowallan and Alice Mary Polson.2 He married Gwyn Mervyn Grimond, daughter of Joseph Bowman Grimond and Lydia Helen Richardson, on 14 August 1918.1 He died on 30 November 1977 at age 81.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Rowallan, of Rowallan, co. Ayr [U.K., 1911] on 19 March 1933.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 6th Battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Ayrshire Yeomanry (TAR.)1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He held the office of Chief Scout of the Commonwealth and Empire between 1945 and 1959.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1951.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Thistle (K.T.) in 1957.1 He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.) in 1959.1 He held the office of Governor of Tasmania between 1959 and 1963.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3
