Sir Henry Halford, 2nd Bt. was born in 1797.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Vaughan Halford, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Barbara St. John. He married Barbara Vaughan, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir John Vaughan and Hon. Augusta St. John. He died on 22 May 1868.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Leicestershire between 1832 and 1857.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Halford [U.K., 1809] on 9 March 1844.
