     George Buchanan, 1st of Mount Vernon was born in 1728.1 He is the son of Andrew Buchanan of Drumpellier and Marion Montgomery.1 He married Lilias Dunlop, daughter of James Dunlop, 4th of Garnkirk and Henrietta Maxwell.1 He died in 1762.1

     Hugh Augustus Bagot-Chester was born on 21 April 1871.1 He was the son of Colonel Heneage Charles Bagot-Chester and Madeline Elizabeth Massey.1 He married Margaret Kathleen Julia Oakes, daughter of Colonel Richard E. Oakes, on 13 January 1895.1 He and Margaret Kathleen Julia Oakes were divorced in 1908.1 He married Clotilde Mary Hamilton Browne, daughter of Hon. Arthur Henry Browne and Clotilde Georgina Don-Wauchope, on 15 February 1913.1 He died on 6 January 1938 at age 66.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Staffordshire Yeomanry.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1900, where he won a medals and three clasps.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Royal Lancashire Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War, where he won three medals.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to 9th Division.1

     Captain Algernon Seymour Hoare was the son of Henry Seymour Hoare and Eleanor Mary Byron.2 He married, firstly, Clementine Bathia Evelyne Browne, daughter of Hon. Arthur Henry Browne and Clotilde Georgina Don-Wauchope, on 16 September 1916.1 He married, secondly, Wynefred Nancy Shorrock, daughter of Guy Shorrock and Emma Blanche Wake, on 30 September 1924.3 He died on 13 May 1952.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Life Guards.1
