He died on 2 June 1714 at age 22 at Köthen, GermanyG.
     He gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen-Merseburg.

He married, firstly, Sophie Angelica von Württemberg-Bernstadt, daughter of Christian Ulric I Herzog von Württemberg-Bernstadt and Anne Elisabeth von Anhalt-Bernburg, on 23 April 1699 at Oels, Silesia, GermanyG. He married, secondly, Anne Federica von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Wiesenburg, daughter of Philip Ludwig Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Wiesenburg and Anna Margaret von Hessen-Homburg, on 27 February 1702. He died on 18 December 1713.
     He gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen-Neustadt.

     Emanuel Lebrecht Prinz von Anhalt-Köthen was born on 20 May 1671.1 He was the son of Emanuel Prinz von Anhalt-Köthen and Eleonore Gräfin von Stolberg-Wernigerode. He married Gisela Agnes Gräfin von Rath, daughter of Balthazar Wilhelm Graf von Rath, on 30 September 1692.1,2 He died on 30 May 1704 at age 33.1
     He gained the title of Prinz von Anhalt-Köthen.
