     Maj.-Gen. Sir Alban Randell Crofton-Atkins was born on 29 June 1870.1 He was the son of Reverend William Arthur Crofton-Atkins and Charlotte Anne Rosalie Coles.1 He married May Clara Bongard, daughter of Daniel William Bongard, on 19 December 1902.1 He died on 30 April 1926 at age 55.1
     He was Director of Supply and Transport between 1916 and 1919.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.1 He was awarded the Order of the Crown of Italy.1 He was awarded the Order of Leopold of Belgium.1 He was awarded the Order of the Redeemer of Greece.1 He was awarded the Order of the White Eagle of Serbia with Swords.1

     May Clara Bongard was the daughter of Daniel William Bongard.1 She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Alban Randell Crofton-Atkins, son of Reverend William Arthur Crofton-Atkins and Charlotte Anne Rosalie Coles, on 19 December 1902.1 She died on 25 March 1919.1
     From 19 December 1902, her married name became Crofton-Atkins.1 She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1918.1

     He lived at Santa Barnara, California, U.S.A.1
