     Arent van Wassenaer Heer van Duivenvoorde, Veur, Voorschoten, 't Woud en Rosande was born on 7 December 1610 at The Hague, The Netherlands.1 He was the son of Lt.-Admiral Johan III van Wassenaer Heer van Duivenvoorde, Veur, Voorschoten en Starrenburg and Maria van Heeckeren of Voorst.1 He married Anna Margaretha van Scherpenzeel Vrouwe van Offem on 16 January 1646 at Noordwijk aan Zee, The Netherlands.1 He died on 16 January 1681 at age 70 at The Hague, The Netherlands.1

     Willem van Wassenaer was born on 17 November 1670 at The Hague, The Netherlands.1 He was the son of Jacob van Wassenaer Heer van Duivenvoorde, Veur en Voorschoten and Jacoba van Liere Vrouwe van Katwijk en 't Zandt.1 He married Hermeline Petronella Schaep Vrouwe van Den Dam, daughter of Herman Schaep Heer van Den Dam and Petronella van Tuyll van Serooskerken Vrouwe van Schore, Maalstede en Capelle, on 7 April 1699 at Voorschoten, The Netherlands.1 He died on 4 November 1719 at age 48 at Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands.1
     He held the office of Governor of Bergen op Zoom.1
