     Colonel Philip Meadows Taylor was born on 25 September 1808 at Paradise Street, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.1 He was the son of Philip Meadows Taylor.1 He married Mary Palmer on 25 August 1831 at Secunderabad, Madras, India.1 He died in 1876 at Mentone, France.1
     He was assistant police superintendent for the Nizam of Hyderabad circa 1826.2 He lived at Old Court House, Harolds Cross, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1
