     George Sandford Warren Sandford was born in 1821.2 He was the son of Sir Nathaniel Levett Peacocke, 2nd Bt.2 He married, firstly, Amelia Apreece, daughter of Sir Thomas Hussey Apreece, 1st Bt. and Dorothea Ashby.3 He married, secondly, Augusta Mary Greville, daughter of Algernon Frederick Greville and Charlotte Maria Cox, on 15 April 1858.4 He died on 17 June 1879.2 He was also reported to have died on 19 June 1879.4
     He was given the name of George Montagu Warren Peacocke at birth.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Harwich between 1852 and 1853, when his election was voided.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Harwich between 1859 and 1868.2 In 1866 his name was legally changed to George Montagu Warren Sandford.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Harwich between 1874 and 1878.2 He lived at Reever Hall, Essex, England.4
