     Sir Thomas l'Anson, 3rd Bt. was born in 1648 at Louvre Palace, Paris, France.1 He was the son of Sir Henry l'Anson, 2nd Bt.2 He married Dorothy Rokeby in 1696 at Oulston, Lincolnshire, England.1 He died on 28 December 1707.1 He was buried at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.1
     He gained the title of 3rd Baronet l'Anson [E., 1652].

     From 1696, her married name became l Anson.1

     Rev. Sir Thomas Bankes l'Anson, 5th Bt. was born on 30 March 1724 at Montpellier, France.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas l'Anson, 4th Bt. and Mary Bankes.1 He married Mary Hayter on 24 May 1753 at Corfe Castle, Dorset, England.1 He died on 25 January 1799 at age 74.1
     He was Rector in 1748 at Corfe Castle, Dorset, England.1 He held the office of Prebendary of Wells.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet l'Anson [E., 1652] on 10 June 1764.

     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet l'Anson [E., 1652] on 25 January 1799.
