     Colonel Alexander Bagot was born on 10 June 1822.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Charles Bagot and Lady Mary Charlotte Anne Wellesley-Pole.1 He married Gertrude Letitia Hallifax, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Robert Dampier Hallifax and Harriett Thomson, on 28 October 1852.1 He died on 20 October 1874 at age 52.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Bengal Civil Service.1

     Gertrude Letitia Hallifax was born in 1833 at Cape Province, South Africa.2 She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Robert Dampier Hallifax and Harriett Thomson.1 She married Colonel Alexander Bagot, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Charles Bagot and Lady Mary Charlotte Anne Wellesley-Pole, on 28 October 1852.1 She died on 8 September 1898.1
     From 28 October 1852, her married name became Bagot.1

     Charles FitzRoy Alexander Halifax Bagot was born on 20 October 1853.1 He was the son of Colonel Alexander Bagot and Gertrude Letitia Hallifax.1 He married, firstly, Emily Maynard Palmer Oldfield, daughter of Colonel Charles Oldfield, on 17 August 1881.1 He and Emily Maynard Palmer Oldfield were divorced in 1890.1 He married, secondly, Beatrice Laura Desanges, daughter of Chevalier L. Desanges, on 9 February 1891.1 He died in 1901.1

     Emily Maynard Palmer Oldfield was the daughter of Colonel Charles Oldfield.1 She married Charles FitzRoy Alexander Halifax Bagot, son of Colonel Alexander Bagot and Gertrude Letitia Hallifax, on 17 August 1881.1 She and Charles FitzRoy Alexander Halifax Bagot were divorced in 1890.1 She died in 1901.1
     From 17 August 1881, her married name became Bagot.1

     Beatrice Laura Desanges was the daughter of Chevalier L. Desanges.1 She married, firstly, General John Studholme Brownrigg, son of John Studholme Brownrigg and Elizabeth Casamaijor, before 1889.1 She married, secondly, Charles FitzRoy Alexander Halifax Bagot, son of Colonel Alexander Bagot and Gertrude Letitia Hallifax, on 9 February 1891.1 She died on 27 September 1922.1
     From before 1891, her married name became Brownrigg.1 From 9 February 1891, her married name became Bagot.1

General John Studholme Brownrigg1

     General John Studholme Brownrigg was born on 22 September 1814 at Bangladesh.2 He was the son of John Studholme Brownrigg and Elizabeth Casamaijor.3 He married, firstly, Katharine Williams-Wynn, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Watkin Williams-Wynn and Hon. Hester Frances Smith, on 11 September 1840.4 He married, secondly, Beatrice Laura Desanges, daughter of Chevalier L. Desanges, before 1889.1 He died on 1 April 1889 at age 74 at Colombo, Sri Lanka.5
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Ensign in 1832 in the 9th Foot.2 He fought in the Crimean War in 1854.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in July 1855.1 He gained the rank of Colonel on 26 October 1858.2,6 He gained the rank of General on 19 April 1878.6
