     Joseph Phipps Townsend was born in 1812 at Warlingham, Sussex, England.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Townsend and Lucy Jesse.1,2 He married Penelope Woollam, daughter of John Woollam and Mary Anne Burges, on 3 February 1853 at Abbey Church, St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England.1 He died in 1888.1
     He was a practising attorney.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Walpole, Norfolk, England.1 He lived at Downhills, Tottenham, London, England.1

     Sir Thomas le Latimer was born circa 1341.1 He was the son of Warin le Latimer and Catherine la Warre.1 He married Anne (?) from August 1360 to 14 April 1366.1 He died on 14 September 1401, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Lord Latimer, of Braybrook, Northamptonshire [E., 1299] before January 1361/62, de jure.1 He was appointed Knight before 1365.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northamptonshire from January 1376/77 to 1378.1 He was a prominent Lollard between 1382 and 1395.1
