     Nicholas Durham was born on 13 January 1905. He was the son of James Cuninghame Durham and Lady Agnes Elizabeth Audrey Townshend. He married Joyce du Pré in 1934. He died on 17 March 1943 at age 38 at Lines of Mareth, Tunisia, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.1

     James Dudley Brownlow Stuart Townshend was born on 14 December 1832.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral John Townshend, 4th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Elizabeth Jane Stuart.1 He died on 11 August 1846 at age 13.1

     Lady Elizabeth Clementina Townshend was baptised on 23 August 1834 at St. Nicholas, Brighton, Sussex, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Rear-Admiral John Townshend, 4th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Elizabeth Jane Stuart.1,3 She married John St. Aubyn, 1st Baron St. Levan of St. Michaels Mount, son of Sir Edward St. Aubyn, 1st Bt. and Emma Knollys, on 15 July 1856.1 She died on 18 November 1910 at age 76.1
     Her married name became St. Aubyn. After her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Clementina Townshend was styled as Baroness St. Levan of St. Michaels Mount on 4 July 1887.

     John St. Aubyn, 1st Baron St. Levan of St. Michaels Mount was born on 23 October 1829.2 He was the son of Sir Edward St. Aubyn, 1st Bt. and Emma Knollys.2 He married Lady Elizabeth Clementina Townshend, daughter of Rear-Admiral John Townshend, 4th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Elizabeth Jane Stuart, on 15 July 1856.2 He died on 14 May 1908 at age 78.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for West Cornwall between 1858 and 1885.2 He was Special Deputy Warden of the Stannaries.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet St. Aubyn, of St. Michaels Mount, Cornwall [U.K., 1866] on 30 November 1872.2 He was Commodore of the Western Yacht Squadron.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cornwall.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for St. Ives between 1885 and 1887.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cornwall.2 He was created 1st Baron St. Levan of St. Michaels Mount, co. Sir Bede Edmund Hugh Clifford and Alice Devin Gundry.2 She married John Julius Cooper, 2nd Viscount Norwich, son of Alfred Duff Cooper, 1st Viscount Norwich and Lady Diana Olivia Winifred Maud Manners, on 5 August 1952.1 She and John Julius Cooper, 2nd Viscount Norwich were divorced in 1985.1
     Her married name became Cooper. After her marriage, Anne Frances May Clifford was styled as Viscountess Norwich on 1 January 1954. An artist.1
