     He was a miller.¹ He lived at Athy, County Kildare, Ireland.¹

     Henrietta Osburne was born circa 1803.² She was the daughter of Henry Osburne and Sarah Elly.² She married Alfred Haughton, son of Samuel Pearson Haughton and Mary Pim, on 21 January 1833.¹ She died on 17 September 1878.
     From 21 January 1833, her married name became Haughton.

     Thomas Pilkington was born in 1784 at Ennis, County Clare, Ireland.² He married Anna Keane on 20 February 1819 at St. Columbas, Ennis, County Clare, Ireland.² He died on 22 March 1838 at Danganelly, County Clare, Ireland.²

     Maria Jane Pilkington was born in May 1831 at Ennis, County Clare, Ireland.² She was the daughter of Thomas Pilkington and Anna Keane.^3,2 She married John Haughton, son of Alfred Haughton and Henrietta Osburne, in 1858.¹ She died on 29 May 1898 at Cleveland, Somerset, England.^1,2
     From 1858, her married name became Haughton.

     Alfred Haughton was born in 1859.¹ He was the son of John Haughton and Maria Jane Pilkington.² He married Mary Elizabeth Montgomery, daughter of Leslie Sidney Montgomery, in 1884.¹
