     Thomas Wilfred Haughton was born on 21 October 1855.1 He was the son of Samuel Murphy Haughton and Agnes Elizabeth Frankland.2 He married Catherine Isabel Gillmor, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Gillmor and Elizabeth Jane Buchan Carter, on 15 January 1885.1 He died on 29 January 1936 at age 80.1
     He emigrated to Ireland arriving on 1870.1 He was a linen bleacher.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Cullybackey, County Antrim, Ireland.1

     From 15 January 1885, her married name became Haughton.

John Wilfred Haughton1

     John Wilfred Haughton was born on 22 January 1886.1 He was the son of Thomas Wilfred Haughton and Catherine Isabel Gillmor.2 He married May Agnes Florence Henderson, daughter of Sir James Henderson, on 5 January 1921.1 He died on 17 April 1961 at age 75.1
     He was educated at St. Edward's School, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, with Army Service Corps.1 He was a linen bleacher.1 He held the office of Member of the County Antrim County Council in 1946.1 He was chairman of the Northern Ireland Tourist Board between 1952 and 1961.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1957.1 He lived at Harperstown House, Cullybackey, County Antrim, Ireland.1

     May Agnes Florence Henderson is the daughter of Sir James Henderson.2 She married John Wilfred Haughton, son of Thomas Wilfred Haughton and Catherine Isabel Gillmor, on 5 January 1921.1
     She was awarded the honorary degree of Master of Arts (M.A.) by Queen's University, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.1 From 5 January 1921, her married name became Haughton. She was chairman of the Northern Ireland Council of Society Services, Child Welfare Council and BBC Appeals Committee.1 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1952.1 She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1958.1 She lived in 1976 at 60 Martinez Avenue, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.1
