     Isabella Brown was the daughter of Alexander Brown and Catherine Chalmers.¹ She married Reverend William Barclay, son of Charles Barclay of Knockleith and Templeland and Bathia Smith, on 7 October 1834.¹ She died on 12 April 1841.¹
     From 7 October 1834, her married name became Barclay.¹
