     Captain Reginald Watkins Grubb was born on 15 July 1883.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Alexander Grubb and Sara Mary Watkins.2,1 He married, firstly, Zoë Kathleen Gynne, daughter of Captain Bertram Edmund Wilson Gynne, on 4 June 1908.1 He and Zoë Kathleen Gynne were divorced in 1921.1 He married, secondly, Ethel Gladys May Park, daughter of Garston Park.1 He died on 13 December 1954 at age 71.1
     He was educated at Temple Grove School, East Sheen, London, England.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He was Commander of HMS Marvel at Battle of Jutland between 31 May 1916 and 1 June 1916 at The North Sea.1,3 He was in charge of shipping at Bermuda.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St Anne (with swords.)1
