     Hon. Robert Edward Petre was born on 26 September 1794.1 He was the son of Robert Edward Petre, 9th Baron Petre and Juliana Barbara Howard.2,1 He married Hon. Laura Maria Jerningham, daughter of George William Stafford Jerningham, 8th Baron Stafford and Frances Henrietta Sulyarde, on 21 July 1829.2 He died on 8 June 1848 at age 53, without issue.1
     He lived at Stapleton Park, Yorkshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1

     Hon. Laura Maria Jerningham was born on 15 January 1811.2 She was the daughter of George William Stafford Jerningham, 8th Baron Stafford and Frances Henrietta Sulyarde.2 She married Hon. Robert Edward Petre, son of Robert Edward Petre, 9th Baron Petre and Juliana Barbara Howard, on 21 July 1829.2 She died on 24 June 1886 at age 75.2
     Her married name became Petre. She was a nun.

George William Stafford Jerningham, 8th Baron Stafford

     George William Stafford Jerningham, 8th Baron Stafford was born on 27 April 1771.1 He was the son of Sir William Jerningham, 6th Bt. and Hon. Frances Dillon.2 He married, firstly, Frances Henrietta Sulyarde, daughter of Edward Sulyarde, on 26 December 1799.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Caton, daughter of Richard Caton and Mary Carroll, on 26 May 1836.1 He died on 4 October 1851 at age 80.1
     He was given the name of George William Jerningham at birth.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baron Stafford, of co. Stafford [E., 1640] on 14 August 1809.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Jerningham [E., 1621] on 14 August 1809. On 17 June 1824 he was recognised as as Baron Stafford on the reversal of the attainder of 1680.1 On 5 October 1826 his name was legally changed to George William Stafford-Jerningham by Royal Licence.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) in 1829.1

Frances Henrietta Sulyarde1

     Frances Henrietta Sulyarde was the daughter of Edward Sulyarde.1 She married George William Stafford Jerningham, 8th Baron Stafford, son of Sir William Jerningham, 6th Bt. and Hon. Frances Dillon, on 26 December 1799.1 She died on 14 November 1832.1
     Her married name became Jerningham. After her marriage, Frances Henrietta Sulyarde was styled as Baroness Stafford on 14 August 1809. From 5 October 1826, her married name became Stafford-Jerningham.1

     Elizabeth Caton was the daughter of Richard Caton and Mary Carroll. She married George William Stafford Jerningham, 8th Baron Stafford, son of Sir William Jerningham, 6th Bt. and Hon. Frances Dillon, on 26 May 1836.1 She died on 29 October 1862 at St. Leonards-on-Sea, Sussex, EnglandG, without issue.1
     After her marriage, Elizabeth Caton was styled as Baroness Stafford on 26 May 1836. Her married name became Jerningham.

     Rear-Admiral Sir Samuel John Brooke-Pechell, 3rd Bt. was born on 1 September 1785.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Thomas Brooke-Pechell, 2nd Bt. and Charlotte Clavering.3,2 He married Hon. Julia Maria Petre, daughter of Robert Edward Petre, 9th Baron Petre and Juliana Barbara Howard, on 15 April 1833.1 He died on 3 November 1849 at age 64, without issue.2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Pechell, of Paglesham, co. Essex [G.B., 1797] on 18 June 1826.2 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the Royal Navy.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Hanoverian Order (K.C.H.)2
