     Pamela Marion Pratt is the daughter of G. Brian Pratt.1 She married, firstly, Major Gerard Malcolm Mary Laurence Petre, son of Rear-Admiral Walter Reginald Glynn Petre and Agnes Marie Cadic, on 21 May 1941.1 She married, secondly, Colonel Desmond John H. Bannister, son of A. C. Bannister, on 2 March 1946.1
     Her married name became Petre. From 2 March 1946, her married name became Bannister.1

     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1
