     Wilhelmina Jane Tennant was born on 17 June 1830 at Dum Dum, Bengal, India.1 She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir James Tennant and Elizabeth Paterson.1 She was baptised on 22 July 1830.1 She married Colonel J. S. Paton.1 She died on 13 August 1859 at age 29 at Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1
     Her married name became Paton.1
