     Nellie Jeannie Rutherford was the daughter of John Thomas Rutherford.2 She married Sir George Vernon Proctor Wills, 2nd Bt., son of Sir George Alfred Wills, 1st Bt. and Susan Britton Proctor, on 15 November 1919.1 She died on 28 January 1961.1
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.1 ARRC.1 From 15 November 1919, her married name became Wills.

     Sir George Peter Vernon Wills, 3rd Bt. was born on 8 January 1922.1 He was the son of Sir George Vernon Proctor Wills, 2nd Bt. and Nellie Jeannie Rutherford.2 He died on 19 April 1945 at age 23 at Italy, killed in action.1
     Sir George Peter Vernon Wills, 3rd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Peter.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Wills, of Blagdon, co. Somerset [U.K., 1923] on 1 February 1931.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1

     Sir John Vernon Wills, 4th Bt. was born on 3 July 1928.1 He is the son of Sir George Vernon Proctor Wills, 2nd Bt. and Nellie Jeannie Rutherford.2 He married Diana Veronica Cecil Baker, daughter of Douglas Ryan Middleton Baker, on 24 October 1953.1 He died on 26 August 1998 at age 70.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Wills, of Blagdon, co. Somerset [U.K., 1923] on 19 April 1945.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was Lieutenant Coldstream Guards Malaya , Lieutenant-Colonel cmdg Somerset and Bristol Yeomanry 1965–67, Brevet Colonel 1967 in 1948.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset in 1962.1 He was director of Bristol Water Holings plc in 1963.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Somerset in 1968.1 He was director of Bristol and West Building Society between 1969 and 1998.1 He was director of Bristol Evening Post and Bristol United Press in 1973.1 He was chairman of Wessex Water Authority between 1973 and 1982.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant and Keeper of the Rolls of Avon between 1974 and 1996.1 He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.) in 1978.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1988 in the Royal Navy Reserve.1 He lived at Vale Cottage, Blagdon, Bristol, England.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1998.1
