     Colonel John Humphrey Wakefield Willink was born on 20 April 1898.1 He was the son of Very Rev. John Wakefield Willink and Ruth Agnes Sim.2 He married Agnes Marjorie Myers, daughter of Richard Philip Myers, on 29 October 1937.1 He died on 19 November 1972 at age 74, without issue.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1918.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.1 He was Secretary, Royal Meterological Society.1 He was appointed Fellow, Institute of British Photographers.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1952.1

     Mary Cecilia Wakefield Willink usually went by her middle name of Cecilia.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Darlington in 1941.1 She was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)1 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1948.1
