     Major Thomas Capper Wells was born on 15 April 1916.1 He was the son of Sir Sydney Richard Wells, 1st Bt. and Mary Dorothy Maltby.2 He died on 13 February 1942 at age 25 at Singapore, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Oliver John Wells was born on 10 March 1922.1 He was the son of Sir Sydney Richard Wells, 1st Bt. and Mary Dorothy Maltby.2 He married Felicity Anne Mascall, daughter of Brigadier Maurice Edward Mascall and Esmee Maude Craster, on 6 August 1949.1 He died on 4 June 2012 at age 90.3
     He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, England.1 He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.1 He fought in the Second World War.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Bedfordshire in 1964.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Bedfordshire in 1970.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He lived in 2003 at Ickwell Grange, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, England.1
