     He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.1

     Ann Mary Teresa Constable-Maxwell was born on 30 August 1927.1 She was the daughter of W/Cdr. Gerald Joseph Constable-Maxwell and Caroline Burns Carden.1 She married Maj.-Gen. Miles Francis Stapleton Fitzalan Howard, 17th Duke of Norfolk, son of Bernard Edward Fitzalan-Howard, 3rd Baron Howard of Glossop and Mona Josephine Tempest Stapleton, Baroness Beaumont, on 4 July 1949.1 She died on 8 April 2013 at age 85.3
     Her married name became Fitzalan-Howard. After her marriage, Ann Mary Teresa Constable-Maxwell was styled as Baroness Howard of Glossop on 24 August 1972. After her marriage, Ann Mary Teresa Constable-Maxwell was styled as Duchess of Norfolk on 30 January 1975. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1992.1 She was founder/co-chairman of Help the Hospices.1 She lived in 2003 at Carlton Towers, Goole, Yorkshire, England.1

     Veronica Diana Margaret Constable-Maxwell usually went by her middle name of Diana.1 She was educated at St. Mary's AscotG.1 From 29 October 1960, her married name became Boyd-Wilson. She lived in 2003 at Adelve, Kyle of Lochalsh, Ross-shire, Scotland.1
