     Edith May Telfer was the daughter of William Telfer.2 She married Francis Charles Bowen Wedgwood, 2nd Baron Wedgwood, son of Josiah Clement Wedgwood, 1st Baron Wedgwood and Hon. Ethel Kate Bowen, on 28 May 1920.1 She died on 5 February 1977.1
     From 28 May 1920, her married name became Wedgwood. After her marriage, Edith May Telfer was styled as Baroness Wedgwood on 26 July 1943.

     Hugh Everard Wedgwood, 3rd Baron Wedgwood was born on 20 April 1921.1 He was the son of Francis Charles Bowen Wedgwood, 2nd Baron Wedgwood and Edith May Telfer.2 He married, firstly, Jean Annette Heather, daughter of Ralph S. Heather, on 20 March 1945.1 He married, secondly, Jane Weymouth Poulton, daughter of William James Poulton, on 5 October 1949.1 He died on 25 April 1970 at age 49.1
     He was educated at Bedales Grammar School, Petersfield, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of officer in 1939 in the Kenya Regiment.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 His marriage to Jean Annette Heather was annulled in 1947.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Wedgwood, of Barlaston, co. Stafford [U.K., 1942] on 22 April 1959.1
