     Mary Leigh was the daughter of Thomas Leigh.2 She married Thomas Wedgwood, son of Thomas Wedgwood and Margaret Shaw, on 28 June 1684.1 She died in 1718.1

     Sir Frederick Fletcher-Vane, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 February 1760 at Hutton-in-le-Forest, Cumberland, EnglandG.1,2 He was the son of Sir Lionel Wright Vane-Fletcher, 1st Bt. and Rachel Griffith.3 He married Hannah Bowerbank, daughter of John Bowerbank and Mary Williamson, on 9 March 1797 at London, England.1 He died in March 1832 at age 72 at Hutton-in-le-Forest, Cumberland, England.1,2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Vane-Fletcher, of Hutton in the Forest, co. Cumberland [G.B., 1786] on 19 July 1786.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Winchelsea between 1792 and 1794.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carlisle between 1796 and 1802.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Winchelsea between 1806 and 1807.2

     Hannah Bowerbank was born in 1773 at Johnby, Greystoke, Cumberland, England.1 She was the daughter of John Bowerbank and Mary Williamson.1 She married Sir Frederick Fletcher-Vane, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Lionel Wright Vane-Fletcher, 1st Bt. and Rachel Griffith, on 9 March 1797 at London, England.1 She died on 17 December 1866 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 She was also reported to have died on 17 December 1861.2
     From 9 March 1797, her married name became Fletcher-Vane.1
