     Reverend Robert Stephen Thompson was born on 11 October 1778.2 He was the son of Henry Thompson and Mary Spence.2 He married Harriet Walbanke-Childers, daughter of Childers Walbanke-Childers and Sarah Fowler.3 He died on 7 January 1862 at age 83.2
     He was (an unknown value) at Myton, Yorkshire, England.2 He was Vicar at Askham Bryan, Yorkshire, EnglandG.3 He also had two sons.3

     Maria Thompson was the daughter of Reverend Robert Stephen Thompson and Harriet Walbanke-Childers.2,3 She married Sir James Walker, 1st Bt., son of James Walker and Jane Porter, on 16 April 1833.1 She died on 9 January 1878.1
     From 16 April 1833, her married name became Walker.
