     From 28 October 1918, her married name became Hoare.

     Brig.-Gen. Reginald Hoare was the son of Thomas Rolls Hoare.2 He married Violet Eliza Reid Walker, daughter of John Reid Walker and Katherine Howard Cartland, on 28 October 1918.1 He died on 14 October 1947.1
     He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the 4th Hussars.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1
