     Maria Venour was born on 21 April 1820 at Bourton on Dunsmore, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Reverend John Venour and Maria Briggs.2 She married Reverend Edward Blomfield Turner, son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Turner and Harriett Ann Stevenson, on 29 August 1850 at St. George, Bristol, England.1,2 She died on 14 March 1855 at age 34 at Offord Cluny, Huntingdonshire, England.1,2
     From 29 August 1850, her married name became Turner.1
