Mary O'Connor was the daughter of Maurice O'Connor.2 She married Hugh Morgan Tuite, son of Hugh Tuite and Sarah Elizabeth Chenevix, on 6 February 1826.1 She died on 14 March 1863.1

Joseph Tuite was born on 15 October 1828.1 He was the son of Hugh Morgan Tuite and Mary O'Connor.2 He married, firstly, Ellen Mary Chawner, daughter of Reverend Charles Fox Chawner, on 8 January 1852.1 He married, secondly, Ellen Boothby, daughter of James Brownell Boothby and Charlotte Cunningham, on 4 June 1868.1 He died on 21 February 1910 at age 81.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 15th Regiment.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Westmeath.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Longford.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Longford.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Longford in 1868.1 He lived at Sonagh, County Westmeath, Ireland.1
