     Jane Preston Karslake was the daughter of Preston Karslake.² She married Reverend John Leofric de Buckenhold Thorold, son of Reverend William Thorold and Frances Elizabeth Gould, on 6 February 1895.¹ She died on 23 May 1956.¹

     George Preston Thorold was born on 11 May 1896.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Leofric de Buckenhold Thorold and Jane Preston Karslake.² He married Madeleine Beatrice de Carteret, daughter of Aubrey Carteret de Carteret, on 6 July 1940.¹ He died on 27 December 1963 at age 67.¹

     Aubrey Carteret de Carteret lived at Jersey, Channel Islands.¹

     Madeleine Beatrice de Carteret was the daughter of Aubrey Carteret de Carteret.² She married George Preston Thorold, son of Reverend John Leofric de Buckenhold Thorold and Jane Preston Karslake, on 6 July 1940.¹ She died in 1988.¹
     From 6 July 1940, her married name became Thorold.
