Sir Robert Thorold, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Robert Thorold, 1st Bt. was the son of Anthony Thorold and Catherine Haselwood.2 He married, firstly, Anne Carvil, daughter of unknown Carvil.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Katharine Roper, daughter of Christopher Roper, 2nd Baron Teynham and Catherine Seborne, circa 1630.1 He died before 1662.1
     He was royalist during the Civil War.1 He was created 1st Baronet Thorold, of Hawley, co. Lincoln [England] on 14 June 1644.1

Sir Robert Thorold, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Robert Thorold, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Robert Thorold, 1st Bt. and Hon. Katharine Roper.2 He married Catherine Knollys, daughter of Sir Henry Knollys, before 1653.1 He died before 1695.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Thorold, of Hawley, co. Lincoln [E., 1644] in 1662.1 In 1692 imprisoned in the Tower London for high treason.1

     Sir Robert Thorold, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Robert Thorold, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Knollys.2 He died on 30 November 1706, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Thorold, of Hawley, co. Lincoln [E., 1644] in 1695.1 He lived On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
