     Major Thomas Hunt-Grubbe was born in 1792 at Potterne, Wiltshire, England.1 He was the son of William Hunt-Grubbe and Mary Dorothea Milnes.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Anne de Costobadie, daughter of Reverend Jacob de Costobadie and Anne Milnes, on 21 June 1820.2 He married, secondly, Catherine Hannah Hughes, daughter of Samuel Hughes, on 13 May 1834.1 He died in 1868.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Eastwell, Potterne, Wiltshire, England.2

     William Hunt-Grubbe was the son of William Hunt-Grubbe and Mary Dorothea Milnes.2 He married Caroline Griffies, daughter of H. Griffies.1 He died in 1817 at Spain.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Horse Guards.1
