     He lived at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1910 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Priest in 1924 at St. Mary and All Souls, Coldstream, Berwickshire, Scotland.¹ He held the office of Canon of St. Mary's Cathedral, Edinburgh.¹ He left Swinton to his cousin James Christopher Swinton of Kimmerghame younger, with a life interest to his wife.¹

     Eva Katherine Logan-Home is the daughter of Major George John Ninian Logan-Home of Broomhouse.² She married Alan Edulf Swinton, son of George Herbert Taylor Swinton and Mary McChlery Becher, on 24 June 1924.¹
     From 24 June 1924, her married name became Swinton.

     Gladys Mary Swinton was the daughter of George Herbert Taylor Swinton and Mary McChlery Becher.² She married Geoffrey Currey Gibson on 9 June 1923.¹ She died on 6 February 1965.¹
