     Lt.-Col. Ian Robert Grimwood is the son of Arthur John Grimwood.¹ He married Margaret Virginia Skipwith, daughter of James Wemyss Skipwith and Estelle Henderson, on 22 February 1947.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Frontier Force Regiment, Indian Army.¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹

     Elisabeth Josephine Nisbet Grimwood was born on 13 September 1948.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Ian Robert Grimwood and Margaret Virginia Skipwith.²

     Lt.-Col. Frederick Skipwith was born on 23 December 1877.¹ He was the son of Colonel Grey Townsend Skipwith and Elizabeth Helen Wemyss.² He married Lily Spence Garvie, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Garvie, on 7 May 1916.¹ He died on 17 April 1964 at age 86.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Boxer Rebellion in 1900.¹ He fought in the Tibet Mission in 1904.¹ He fought in the Zakka Khel Expedition in 1908.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Gurkha Rifles.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Garvie graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Medical Service.¹

     Lily Spence Garvie was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Garvie.² She married Lt.-Col. Frederick Skipwith, son of Colonel Grey Townsend Skipwith and Elizabeth Helen Wemyss, on 7 May 1916.¹ She died in 1979.¹
     From 7 May 1916, her married name became Skipwith.

     David James Skipwith was born on 6 February 1917.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Frederick Skipwith and Lily Spence Garvie.² He died on 6 June 1966 at age 49, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Bimbashi Sudan Defence Force.¹ He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1938 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the SOE and Long Range Desert Group.¹ He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1947 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was housemaster between 1948 and 1956 at Bloxham School, Bloxham, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was housemaster between 1956 and 1958 at St. Andrew's College, Grahamstown, Cape Province, South Africa.¹ He was headmaster between 1960 and 1966 at Shiplake College, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Wendy Elisabeth Skipwith was born on 16 August 1927.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick Skipwith and Lily Spence Garvie.² She married Captain Thomas Peter Robin Crane, son of Thomas Taversham Crane, on 15 August 1955.¹
     From 15 August 1955, her married name became Crane. She lived in 2003 at Bridge Cottage, Well Lane, Midhurst, Sussex, England.¹

     Thomas Taversham Crane lived at Maidenhead, Berkshire, England.¹

     Captain Thomas Peter Robin Crane is the son of Thomas Taversham Crane.² He married Wendy Elisabeth Skipwith, daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick Skipwith and Lily Spence Garvie, on 15 August 1955.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹
