     Ellen Eliza Ramsay was born on 21 February 1835.2 She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Skardon Ramsay and Mary Ann Alexander.3,2 She was baptised on 26 March 1835 at Ahmednuggur, Bombay, India.2 She married Charles Forbes Hodson Shaw-Mackenzie of Tordarroch and 4th of Newhall, son of Alexander Nesbitt Shaw and Georgiana Hodson, in 1852.1
     From 1852, her married name became Shaw-Mackenzie.

     Vero Campbell Shaw-Mackenzie of Tordarroch and 5th of Newhall was born on 14 January 1854 at Belgaum, Bombay, India.1,2 He was the son of Charles Forbes Hodson Shaw-Mackenzie of Tordarroch and 4th of Newhall and Ellen Eliza Ramsay.3 He died on 18 December 1905 at age 51 at Hastings, Sussex, England, unmarried.1,2
     He held the position of 19th Chief of the Clan Shaw from.1 He held the position of 14th Chief of the Clan Ay from.1 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1

John Alexander Shaw-Mackenzie of Tordarroch and 6th of Newhall1

     John Alexander Shaw-Mackenzie of Tordarroch and 6th of Newhall was born on 25 October 1857.1 He is the son of Charles Forbes Hodson Shaw-Mackenzie of Tordarroch and 4th of Newhall and Ellen Eliza Ramsay.2 He was baptised on 30 December 1857 at Ahmednuggur, Bombay, India.3 He married Frances Yule, daughter of Robert Yule, on 24 August 1895.1 He died on 1 June 1933 at age 75.1
     He held the position of 15th Chief of the Clan Ay from.1 He held the position of 20th Chief of the Clan Shaw from.1 He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Ross and Cromarty.1 He graduated from University College Hospital, London, EnglandG, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Medicine (F.R.S.M.)1 He was Medical Registrar and Pathologist Victoria Hospital for Children.1 He was originator of the treatment of inoperable cancer by trypsin and erepsin, author works on treatment cancer.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 30 November 1905.1

     He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1

     Emily Bertha Graham was the daughter of Edward Graham.2 She married Arthur Crokat Shaw-Mackenzie, son of Charles Forbes Hodson Shaw-Mackenzie of Tordarroch and 4th of Newhall and Ellen Eliza Ramsay, on 4 October 1902.1 She died on 21 August 1945.1
     From 4 October 1902, her married name became Shaw-Mackenzie.
