Edwin Sandys1

     Edwin Sandys was the son of Sir Edwin Sandys and Catherine Bulkeley.2 He married Catharine Champneys, daughter of Richard Champneys.1 He died in September 1651, from wounds received in action.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Parliamentary Army.1 He lived at Northbourne Court, Northbourne, Kent, England.1 He fought in the Battle of Worcester in September 1651.1

     Sir Richard Sandys was the son of Edwin Sandys and Catharine Champneys.2 He married Mary Heyman, daughter of Sir Henry Heyman, 1st Bt..1 He died in 1669, killed accidentally while hunting.1

Sir Richard Sandys, 1st and last Bt.1

     Sir Richard Sandys, 1st and last Bt. was born on 6 January 1670.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Sandys and Mary Heyman.2 He married, secondly, Mary Rolle, daughter of Sir Francis Rolle.2 He married, firstly, Jane Ward, daughter of Reverend Thomas Ward, circa 12 April 1694.1 He died on 5 May 1726 at age 56, without male issue.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Sandys [England] on 15 December 1684.1
