     Commander Josceline Heneage Drummond was born on 4 August 1888.1 He was the son of Algernon Heneage Drummond and Margaret Elizabeth Benson.2 He married Gwendolen Theresa Laing, daughter of James Laing, on 15 April 1944.1 He died on 21 March 1980 at age 91.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1 He was Assistant Secretary of Forces Help Society between 1937 and 1953.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946.1
