     Sir Jonathan Trelawny, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1623.2 He was the son of Sir John Trelawny, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mohun.2,3 He married Mary Seymour, daughter of Sir Edward Seymour, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Killigrew.4 He died circa 2 March 1680/81.1 He was buried on 5 March 1680/81.4
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cornwall between 1661 and 1678.4 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Trelawny, of Trelawny, Cornwall [E., 1628] circa 13 February 1664.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Looe in 1678/79.4
