     William Wolryche-Whitmore was born on 17 October 1787 at St. Andrew, Quatt, Shropshire, England.¹ He was the son of William Whitmore and Frances Barbara Lyster.¹ He married Lucy Elizabeth Georgina Bridgeman, daughter of Orlando Bridgeman, 1st Earl of Bradford, on 29 January 1819.¹ He died on 11 August 1858 at age 70.¹
