     Cecil Marianne Wale was born in 1830 at Little Shelford, Cambridgeshire, England.2 She was the daughter of General Sir Charles Wale and Henrietta Brent.1 She married Reverend Charles Lawrence, son of Walter Lawrence and Georgiana Blake, on 28 February 1866 at St. Nicholas, Brighton, Sussex, England.2 She died on 18 January 1881 at Dublin, Coutny Dublin, Ireland.2 She was buried at Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold's Cross, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2
     From 28 February 1866, her married name became Lawrence.2
