     Charles Garnett was born in 1811 at Manchester, Lancashire, England.1,2 He was the son of Robert Garnett and Louisa Ann Lyon.1 He married Marianne Willock, daughter of Robert Peel Willock and Marianne Wilson, on 1 May 1839 at Manchester Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire, England.1,2 He died in 1899.1
     He was a practising barrister.2

     Major John Temple Rivett-Carnac was born on 21 April 1906.1 He was the son of Rev. Sir Clennel George Rivett-Carnac, 6th Bt. and Eva Mary Bernard Orr.2 He married, firstly, Sarah Winifred Eglin, daughter of Wilfrid Herbert Eglin, on 20 November 1941.1 He married, secondly, Vivienne Mary Fairchild in 1951.1 He died between 1991 and 1992.1
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Duke of Wellington's Regiment.1
