     Sir Arthur Gareth Ludovic Emrys Rhys Williams, 3rd Bt. was born on 9 November 1961.1 He is the son of Sir Brandon Meredith Rhys Williams, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Susan Foster.2 He married Harriet Codner, daughter of Major Tom Codner, on 14 September 1996.1
     Sir Arthur Gareth Ludovic Emrys Rhys Williams, 3rd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Gareth.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Durham University, Durham, County Durham, England, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)1 He graduated from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, Île-de-France, FranceG, with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Territorial Army.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Williams, of Miskin, Llantrisant, co. Glamorgan [U.K., 1918] on 18 May 1988.1 He was managing director of NFI Electronics, Rexam Custom Europe between 1992 and 1996.1 Between 1996 and 2000 regional manging director of Central Europe BPB plc.1 He was registered as a CEng, MIEE, MIMechE, MIOM, CCMI.1 He was CEO of Vitec Group plc in 2001.1 He lived in 2003 at 9 Matheson Road, London, England.1
