     Martha Gould was the daughter of John Gould.2 She married Sir John Colman Rashleigh, 1st Bt., son of John Rashleigh and Katherine Battie, on 17 October 1833.1 She died on 9 June 1879.1
     From 17 October 1833, her married name became Rashleigh.

     Sir Colman Battie Rashleigh, 3rd Bt. was born on 11 March 1846 at Lostwithiel, Cornwall, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Sir Colman Rashleigh, 2nd Bt. and Mary Anne Kendall.3 He married, firstly, Geraldine Frances Walpole, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Robert Walpole and Gertrude Ford, on 10 October 1872.1 He married, secondly, Amy Young Jamieson, daughter of James Young Jamieson, on 21 September 1878.1 He died on 28 October 1907 at age 61.1
     He was Deputy-Warden of the Stannaries.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Cornwall and Devon Miners' Artillery, West Division, Royal Artilelry.1 He held the office of Mayor of Lostwithiel between 1891 and 1894.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Rashleigh, of Prideaux, co. Cornwall [U.K., 1831] on 27 October 1896.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cornwall.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cornwall.1

     Charlotte Jane Rashleigh was the daughter of Charles Edward Rashleigh.2 She married Reverend John Kendall Rashleigh, son of Sir Colman Rashleigh, 2nd Bt. and Mary Anne Kendall, on 11 July 1871.1 She died on 25 December 1872.1

John Kendall Rashleigh1

     John Kendall Rashleigh was born on 16 December 1872.1 He was the son of Reverend John Kendall Rashleigh and Charlotte Jane Rashleigh.2 He married, firstly, Evelyn Anne Jenkins, daughter of William Henry Philips Jenkins, on 27 May 1903.1 He and Evelyn Anne Jenkins were divorced in 1925.1 He married, secondly, Jeffreys McEwen Martin, daughter of Jefferson Martin, on 5 April 1932.1 He died on 25 March 1960 at age 87, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Cornwall and Devon Miners' Artillery Militia.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 5th Battalion, Royal Irish Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.1 He was with South African Constabulary between 1902 and 1904.1 He was Special Constable, BC Police between 1912 and 1913.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Major in the Royal Army Service Corps.1
He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was with British forces in Egypt, Iraq and North-West Persia between 1919 and 1921.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)1 He fought in the Second World War, with the Intelligence Service.1
