     Alexander Graham was the son of Malise Graham, 1st Earl of Menteith and Jane de Rochford.1 He died before 19 April 1471.2
     On 17 June 1453 he took his father's place as a hostage in England.2

     On 8 December 1485 he received from his father the Lake of Lochcon.2 On 25 February 1494/95 he resigned the lands given to him by his father.2 On 17 June 1523 he had a grant of the lands of Drongy and part of the brae of Boquhapple, from William Balfour of Boquhapple.2
