     May Franklin was born in 1814.¹ She was the daughter of Major Sir James Franklin.² She married John Price, son of Sir Rose Price, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Lambart, on 12 June 1838.¹ She died on 2 October 1894.¹
     From 12 June 1838, her married name became Price.¹

     Sir John Frederick Price was born on 3 October 1839.¹ He was the son of John Price and May Franklin.² He married Alice Phillips, daughter of Hon. H. D. Phillips, on 28 April 1863.¹ He died on 12 June 1927 at age 87.¹
     He was with the Madras Civil Service between 1862 and 1897.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.)¹

     Hon. H. D. Phillips was a member of the Council.¹ He was with the Madras Civil Service.¹

     Alice Phillips was the daughter of Hon. H. D. Phillips.² She married Sir John Frederick Price, son of John Price and May Franklin, on 28 April 1863.¹ She died on 29 August 1931.¹
     From 28 April 1863, her married name became Price.¹

     Frederick William Clarence Price was born on 24 May 1865.¹ He was the son of Sir John Frederick Price and Alice Phillips.² He died on 12 December 1915 at age 50, unmarried.¹

     George Dominic Price was born on 10 November 1867.¹ He was the son of Sir John Frederick Price and Alice Phillips.² He married Alice Frances Tew, daughter of Lt.-Col. Cyril Blackburne Tew and Harriet Salisbury Rothe, on 7 December 1918.¹ He died on 27 February 1943 at age 75, as a result of enemy action.¹
     He fought in the First Matabele War between 1893 and 1894.¹ He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the West Yorkshire Regiment.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.¹ He was appointed Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.¹ He was appointed Order of the White Eagle of Serbia 3rd Class.¹ He was appointed Order of St. Stanislaus of Russia 1st Class.¹ He was appointed Order of St. Vladimir of Russia 2nd Class.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in 1924.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Alice Frances Tew was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Cyril Blackburne Tew and Harriet Salisbury Rothe.¹ She married, firstly, Vice-Admiral Frederick Charles Robinson, son of Admiral Hercules Robinson and Frances Elizabeth Wildman-Wood, in 1889.¹ She married, thirdly, George Dominic Price, son of Sir John Frederick Price and Alice Phillips, on 7 December 1918.¹ She married, secondly, Richard Earle Welby, son of Reverend Arthur Earle Welby and Julia Catherine Macdonald, in 1899. She died on 27 February 1930.¹
     From 1889, her married name became Robinson.¹ From 1899, her married name became Welby. From 7 December 1918, her married name became Price.¹

     Thomas Herbert Francis Price was born on 29 June 1869.¹ He was the son of Sir John Frederick Price and Alice Phillips.² He married Lurline May Moses, daughter of Hon. Henry Moses, on 14 January 1919.¹ He died on 14 February 1945 at age 75, without issue.¹
     He fought in the Boer War.¹ He fought in the Tirah Campaign.¹ He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches six times.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 1st Battalion, Duke of Cornwall's Light Ifantry.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in 1921.¹

     Mary Dopping was the daughter of Most Rev. Anthony Dopping and Jane Molyneux. She married Arthur Weldon, son of Walter Weldon and Anne Burdett, on 20 December 1721.¹
     From 20 December 1721, her married name became Weldon.

     Charlotte Mary Emily Price was born on 7 May 1864 at Chennai, India.² She was the daughter of Sir John Frederick Price and Alice Phillips.³ She married Major Frederic Philip Smyly, son of Maj.-Gen. Philip Austin Smyly and Augusta Amelia Dunn, on 17 October 1885 at St. Georges Cathedral, Chennai, India.^1,2 She died on 15 August 1943 at age 79 at 644 Beach Drive, Oak Bay, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.²
     From 17 October 1885, her married name became Smyly.¹
