     Miriam Barbara Joyce was the daughter of Sir Matthew Ingle Joyce.2 She married Major Hon. Leonard Harrison Cripps, son of Charles Alfred Cripps, 1st Baron Parmoor and Theresa Potter, on 5 April 1913.1 She died on 30 July 1960.1
     From 5 April 1913, her married name became Cripps.1

     Major Matthew Anthony Leonard Cripps was born on 30 December 1913.1 He was the son of Major Hon. Leonard Harrison Cripps and Miriam Barbara Joyce.2 He married Dorothea Margaret Scott, daughter of George Johnson Scott, on 21 June 1941.1 He died on 25 January 1997 at age 83.1

     Dorothea Margaret Scott was the daughter of George Johnson Scott.2 She married Major Matthew Anthony Leonard Cripps, son of Major Hon. Leonard Harrison Cripps and Miriam Barbara Joyce, on 21 June 1941.1 She died in 1992.1
     Dorothea Margaret Scott usually went by her middle name of Margaret.1 From 21 June 1941, her married name became Cripps.1 She held the office of Member of the Surrey County Council between 1965 and 1966.1
